Step-by-Step guide for an Okta Account request
Go to https://jira.devops.va.gov/servicedesk/customer/portal/89 - ICAM Service Desk
Click on Okta Account Request
- Enter your Okta username
- Please use your Government email address such as @va.gov or @health.mil
- An exception maybe granted for other domains up to 90 days only
- Enter your First Name
- Enter your Last Name
- Add your VA Manager or COR email address for the approval needed. COR Approval is required for non-VA emails (e.g @contractor.xxx emails). Please note that your approver must be a government employee with a VA email address that is in a Project manager or Product owner role in the team or group.
- You can manually enter an Alternate VA Manager or COR email address if your COR approver or Manager does not come up in the list above. Please note again that this person must be government employee with a VA email address.
- Click Create to complete and submit the form.
- Enter your Okta username
