Problem

I cannot Upload files/attachments (jpg, png, excel, word, pdf, etc) files to my Jira Issue or Confluence page

Solution

Please ensure that you are logged into the VPN. Due to security settings, you cannot upload attachments in Jira or Confluence unless you are logged into the VPN.


  • Maximum File size: 100 MB

  • Supported File Types:

    • Images: JPEG, PNG, GIF, BMP.
    • Videos: MP4, MOV, AVI.
    • Audio: MP3, WAV.
    • Documents: PDFs, Microsoft Office documents (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), text files, and more.
    • Other: Confluence also supports attaching various other file types, though specific rendering capabilities might vary.
