Step-by-step guide

Step 1:

Using your browser, log into Slack with the workspace URL- https://deptofveteransaffairs.enterprise.slack.com/


Step 2:

2) Click the top green button.  This will redirect you to Okta for authentication.

Step 3:

Use your current login method for Okta.  PIV is preferred but you can also use Username/Password/2FA if required. 

Once complete you will be redirected back to Slack.





Step 4:

When authenticating to a new workspace in Slack, you will want to select the “sign in with workspace URL” link shown at the bottom of the screen and use “deptofveteransaffairs.enterprise.slack.com” option



                 

Step 5:

Once complete, please select the “Sign in with External Users” option shown below.  This will redirect you to Okta for authentication using username/password. 

Once complete, you will be redirected back to Slack
